Guitar Chords: Open 7th Chords Chart (Dominant Seventh)

A seventh chord (dominant 7th chord) consists the of the root note, a major third, a perfect fifth and a minor seventh.   Basically a minor 7th interval built on top of a major chord. All these intervals are in relation to the root.   Generally when a chord is referred to as a 7th chord, it is a dominant seventh, as opposed to a major seventh chord, minor seventh, augmented, diminished, ect.
