Minor Guitar Chords Chart (printable)
A minor chord contains three notes, a root, a minor third, and a perfect fifth. The minor chord is very similar to a major chord, except that instead of a major third, it contains a minor third. It is this minor third that determines, whether or not a chord is major or minor. A minor chord can also be referred to as a minor triad, a triad as its name suggests is three notes, either played in unison as a chord, or in succession as a string of notes.
